LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We acknowledge that we occupy and hold title to land that was taken by force from the original stewards: the Esopus Munsee and Lenape people. As a land trust, responsible stewardship is the core of our mission. That extends to the land, the beings who live upon it, and the planet as a whole. There is so much we can learn from those original stewards of this land and their descendants – we honor them and pledge to do that.
