Scarecrow Fest Activities

We're excited to introduce a few of the eco-themed workshops as well as arts and crafts stations for the whole family. We look forward to seeing you Sept. 20.

The festival kicks off at 1 p.m., with activities running all afternoon: Create your own seed balls with the Woodstock Pollinator Pathway and Hudson Valley Seed Co. at 1:15; sing along with local favorite Elly Wininger at 2; explore bedrock geology for kids with Dr. Robert Titus at 2:15; and join WLC’s Melissa Peterson at 3:15 for a short tree identification walk.

Throughout the day, families can also enjoy the Scarecrow Craft Station featuring pumpkin painting, indigo dyeing, branch weaving, pollinator coloring sheets and more -- while supplies last. Space is limited for workshops, so plan to arrive at the central workshop station about 10 minutes early to save your spot. Come for the crafts, stay for the community, and celebrate fall with us!
